We stand behind every product we build. If something is not the right fit, we offer a simple 30 day return window on eligible products.
Start a Return or Exchange
All returns and exchanges must be submitted through our online portal:
Start a Return
Eligibility
- Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery.
- Items must be unused and in original condition with tags attached.
- Returned items must be free of odors, stains, damage, or signs of wear.
Made to Order Products
- All made to order products are final sale.
- These items are produced specifically for your order and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.
- If a made to order item arrives damaged or incorrect, submit a claim through the portal and select “Item arrived damaged or incorrect”.
Limited Products
- All products labeled LIMITED on our website are final sale.
- These items cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.
- Damaged or incorrect LIMITED items qualify for replacement only, not refunds.
Return Shipping Fee
- Refunds to the original payment method incur a flat 5 dollar return shipping fee.
- This fee is automatically deducted when your refund is processed.
- Exchanges and store credit options do not incur this fee.
Exchanges
- Exchanges are free.
- Use the portal to select the new size or item.
- Your exchange ships once the original item is received and inspected.
Store Credit Option
- Choose store credit during the return process to avoid the 5 dollar return shipping fee.
- Store credit is issued instantly as a digital code once your return is approved in the portal.
Refunds
- Refunds are processed within 3 to 5 business days after we receive and verify your returned item.
- Bank processing times may add an additional 3 to 5 business days.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
- Submit a claim through the portal and select “Item arrived damaged or incorrect”.
- Upload photos when prompted.
- These returns are processed at no cost to you.
Non Returnable Items
- Made to order products
- LIMITED products
- Final sale items
- Gift cards
- Used, worn, washed, or altered items
Third Party Purchases
- Items purchased from any retailer other than https://makitagear.com must be returned through the original place of purchase.
